Gampps Service Station was established in 1925 by George Gampp.  During the first year of operation Gampps  sold coal and feed, and then in 1926 added gas and oil.  In 1957 George's son Lowell Gampp and son-in-law William Lewis took over operation of the business.  Currently Gampps Inc. is owned and operated by two of Lowell's sons, Harold Gampp and Dale Gampp, and they employ up to the fifth generation of family members.

Gampps Inc. presently employs 26 full and part time employees.  They offer a wide variety of products including motor oil, home heating fuel, kerosene, fertilizer and gasoline.  In addition Gampps Inc. has been a dealer of John Deere lawn and garden and commercial equipment since 1967.  On December 24, 2001, Gampps opened a new John Deere Sales Center.  They offer a wide variety of John Deere and Lawnboy products, as well as excellent parts and service departments.  Gampps is a John Deere Gold Star certified dealer, which means that they maintain a high level of customer service before and after the sale. 

Today, Gampps has a long tradition of customer service and satisfaction.  Gampps motto is "We service what we sell!"  Gampps prides themselves on keeping their customers happy one hundred percent of the time!
